Internal Quality Assurance

The Faculty of Sciences of the University of A Coruña, with the purpose of guaranteeing the quality of the degrees taught in this Center, and in accordance with RD 1393/2007 establishing the organization of official university education, has developed an Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS ) which was approved by the Faculty Board.

The IQAS of the Faculty of Sciences was prepared in accordance with the guidelines established in the FIDES-AUDIT program for the development of Internal Quality Assurance Systems for university education, and was evaluated and certified positively by the Galician University System Quality Agency (ACSUG). The implementation of this system in the Faculty of Sciences is a responsibility shared by all its members.

In its organization the IQAS has a manual (MSGIC) that collects the basic principles of its elaboration and a set of procedures to carry out its implantation.
